Professional Background

  • Occupational Therapist ((BHScOT, Reg NZROT)

  • Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher

  • SoulCollage® Facilitator

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Supervision

I work as a private therapist, EAP counsellor and professional supervisor, offering a space where evidence-based practice meets creative inquiry. My approach is rooted in a blend of Mindfulness, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Sensory Modulation, all woven together with the intuitive power of SoulCollage®.

My practice is compassion-led and deeply values-based; I partner with you to help you navigate life’s challenges and craft a life that feels both purposeful and true. Whether you are an individual, a group, or an organization,

I provide counselling, coaching, and supervision both in-person in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and via secure online sessions.

Beyond individual sessions, I facilitate small-group workshops that provide a structured, creative container for self-discovery. These sessions—such as my 'Coming Home to Self' series—bring together the principles of occupational health and the intuitive process of SoulCollage®.

BACKGROUND

Born in the Black Forest of Germany, I was raised in a culture that deeply celebrates craftsmanship. Growing up, I was surrounded by diligent makers and watching both my parents at work taught me early on that beauty and utility are best when crafted with care.

These roots found new meaning when I discovered Occupational Therapy, a discipline with deep historical ties to the Arts & Crafts Movement, which champions the idea that healing is found through purposeful, everyday activity.

For over 20 years, I have practiced as an Occupational Therapist, and I have learned that true healing is not a passive process—it is a craft. It requires intention, the right tools, and the patience to assemble the pieces of our lives into a cohesive, meaningful whole. In my counselling and supervision work, I blend this clinical structured approach with my love of creative inquiry, helping you resolve challenges and build a life that feels authentic, restorative, and uniquely yours.

MY PHILOSOPHY & PRACTICE

My approach to therapy and supervision is rooted in a unique synthesis: the evidence-based rigor of Occupational Therapy and the intuitive, transformative power of SoulCollage®.

Using my background in mental health, I hold a container that is safe, structured, and clinically sound. Whether we are navigating professional challenges in supervision or personal healing, we work with goals, patterns, and tangible outcomes.

I often integrate SoulCollage® into our work as a "third space." Words sometimes fail us when we are at a crossroads; images, however, speak a universal language. By creating a personal deck of cards, we externalize the internal, allowing you to "see" your inner wisdom clearly and objectively.

Having developed my craft across both Aotearoa New Zealand and Germany, my practice is informed by diverse perspectives on wellness. I appreciate the value of both precision and presence, and I bring this balance to every session I facilitate.
